Rostov could not have wished for a better start to the season, with the team beating Tambov on the road in their opener, but they failed to impress in the following two league fixtures. After a 2-0 defeat to title holders Zenit, Rostov were beaten by Dynamo in Moscow in midweek to drop to tenth position in the standings. The Selmashi are eager to get back on course, and they are surely capable of matching Ufa at Neftyanik Stadium.
The hosts, on the other hand, were more than fortunate not to suffer a loss in the midweek clash as Spartak Moscow dominated the match. Vadim Evseev’s men have been having their ups and downs at the start of the season, and given the importance of the match for Rostov, we believe that away win should be considered. The likes of Bojan Jokic and Lovro Bizjak are likely to miss the game with injury for the hosts.
