Thanks to a routine 6-0 win over Nurnberg, Stuttgart secured automatic promotion to the 2. Bundesliga. Die Schwaben got their job done on the penultimate day of the season, meaning that boss Pellegrino Matrazzo is likely to mix the squad against Darmstadt. Anyhow, we predict that Stuttgart are going to stick to their attacking style of play. The Lilywhites, on the other hand, did well to beat Wehen in their last league fixture, but that is unlikely to help them secure a top-three finish.
Darmstadt’s pride will be at stake on Sunday afternoon, and given the attacking potential of the two teams, we are likely to see goals galore at Mercedes-Benz Arena.
