The club based in the suburbs of Hamburg have been struggling in the 2. Bundesliga of late, and, as a result, Jos Luhukay’s men will find it hard to avoid relegation to the 3. Liga. Erzgebirge Aue, on the other hand, have slim chances of securing promotion to the Bundesliga, meaning that the lack of motivation could prove to be a big problem for the visiting team.
St. Pauli produce much better showings at home than on the travels, and even though the game will be played behind closed doors, we are tempted to put our money on Jos Luhukay’s charges.
