As expected, Sheffield United suffered yet another defeat in the 2020/21 Premier League campaign, with the team losing to Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium. The Blades are stuck at the bottom of the table, with the team collecting only one point from possible 36, and, no doubt, boss Chris Wilder is under big pressure ahead of the midweek clash.
Since the rock-bottom side head into the match with the lack of confidence, home win should not be considered. The Red Devils did well to hold Man City to a goalless draw in the Manchester derby, and they are now on a quest to regain their spot in top four.
