The Royals have been producing fine displays under Veljko Paunovic this season, but they do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the visit of Luton. Following a 2-1 loss to Norwich City, Reading were beaten by Brentford in their last league match, meaning that the lack of confidence could prove to be a big problem for the home team.
The likes of Araruna, Puscas, Swift, and Yiadom have all been struggling with injuries of late. The Hatters, on the other hand, did well to hold Bournemouth to a goalless draw in their last league match. Unlike last season, Luton have been playing some low-scoring games of late. Anyhow, given Reading’s current form, share of spoils is on the horizon at Madejski Stadium. The good news for the visitors is that defender Glen Rea returns from suspension.
