Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
After dropping two points in a goalless draw with Livingston, Rangers will be aiming to get back on course in the Scotland Premiership when they host Kilmarnock at their Ibrox Stadium. The Gers failed to turn their dominance into goals in their last league fixture, but that should not have a negative impact on their confidence. Steven Gerrard’s men are a real force to be reckoned with at home, and given Kilmarnock’s form at the start of the season, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise.
The Killie are on a four-game winless run in the national championship, and they are unlikely to spoil Rangers’ party at Ibrox Stadium. Kilmarnock defender Ross Millen is sidelined with injury, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the title-chasing team. Experienced attacker Jermaine Defoe is a major doubt for the hosts.
