Thanks to Jacob Murphy’s intelligent free-kick goal, Newcastle United shared the spoils with Wolverhampton on Matchday 6. The Magpies have obviously subscribed to last-minute goals, and, no doubt, they are high on confidence ahead of the visit of Everton. The likes of Dubravka, Gayle, Ritchie, and Shelvey are all likely to miss the game with injury for the hosts. The Toffees made a flying start to the season, but their display in a 2-0 loss at Southampton was anything but good.
Everton aim to return to winning ways as soon as possible, but keep in mind that left back Lucas Digne will have to serve his ban against Newcastle. Seeing that Richarlison remains on the sidelines through suspension as well, we are tempted to put our money on the Magpies. A man to watch in the home team will be summer signing Callum Wilson, who is likely to make life difficult for the opposition defenders.
