After dropping two points in a 2-2 draw with Aalesund, Valerenga will be looking to return to winning ways in the Eliteserien when they take on Mjondalen at Isachsen Stadion. The Pride of Oslo showed character on Matchday 6, with the team coming from two goals behind to share the spoils with Aalesund, but they are surely capable of producing much better displays.
Defender Sam Adekugbe misses the Mjondalen game through suspension, and given Valerenga’s shaky defence, we do not believe that the visitors are going to keep a clean sheet in Sunday’s showdown. The hosts aim to make amends for a 2-1 loss to Molde, but, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from the match. Considering that both sides have been struggling at the back of late, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score.
