Hammarby
Thanks to Isaac Thelin’s brace, Malmo came from behind to beat Kalmar at home on Matchday 9. The Blues showed character in Sunday’s clash, with the team melting Norrkoping’s advantage in the table to four points. Malmo are likely to stick to their attacking style of play against Hammarby, who have recorded only one win on the road so far this term. Ola Toivonen missed a couple of clear-cut opportunities to score against Kalmar, meaning that he is unlikely to return to the starting XI.
Hammarby, on the other hand, have been playing below expectations at the start of the season. Stefan Billborn’s men are not regarded as good travellers, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Malmo’s party at Swedbank Stadion. In their last meeting at the venue Malmo crushed Hammarby 4-1, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.
