After holding Cagliari to a goalless draw at Sardegna Arena, Lecce will be looking to escape the relegation zone when they take on Fiorentina on Matchday 33. The Giallorossi have been showing signs of improvement of late, and one thing is for sure, they are likely to fight tooth and nail against the Viola. It has to be noted, though, that both Filippo Falco and Marco Calderoni picked up injuries in the draw with Cagliari.
Fiorentina were on the verge of losing to Hellas Verona at the weekend, but thanks to Cutrone’s late goal they eventually picked up one point from the match. Even though midfielder Alfred Duncan returns from suspension for the visiting team, we are tempted to put our money on Lecce as they are desperate to avoid relegation to the Serie B.
