Rovaniemi
Buoyed by a 3-2 win over Ilves, Lahti will be aiming to cement their spot in the top half of the table when they face RoPS on Friday. The first half of the season has been a mixed bag for Lahti to date, but they are surely capable of beating Rovaniemi at home as the visitors do not seem to be on top of their game at the moment. RoPS suffered a 3-2 loss to Mariehamn at the weekend, with the team extending their losing run in the Veikkausliiga to four games, and they face yet another uphill task against Lahti.
Given their shaky defence, we do not believe that Rovaniemi are capable of spoiling Lahti’s party at Lahden Stadion. A man to watch in the home team will be talented attacker Jasin-Amin Assehnoun, who has been scoring goals for fun in the new Veikkausliga campaign.
