Debrecen will be looking to make amends for a 2-1 loss to Ferencvaros when they take on Honved at Hidegkuti Nandor Stadion on Matchday 26. Debrecen are only two points clear of the relegation zone ahead of the trip to Budapest, but, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from Sunday’s football match. Honved, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in their last league fixture, with the team losing to fellow mid-table side Kisvarda 5-1 at home.
Considering that there will be no spectators in Sunday’s clash against Debrecen, we are tempted to put our money on the visitors, who are desperate to avoid relegation to the Hungarian second tier. When the two teams met at Hidegkuti Nandor Stadion last season Debrecen recorded a 3-2 win over Honved, which is yet another reason why away win should be considered.
