HIFK and Haka face each other in a highly-anticipated clash at Bolt Arena on Matchday 10. Despite producing a fine performance at Inter Turku at the weekend, HIFK were eventually beaten by the league leaders at Veritas Stadion. To make things even worse for boss Tor Thodesen, first-choice goalkeeper Arnold Otieno will miss the Haka game through suspension as he was sent off in the defeat to Inter.
You should bear in mind, though, that Tor Thodesen’s troops are eyeing their third consecutive home win in the Veikkausliiga. Haka, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season. Teemu Tainio’s men have been struggling at the back in the first half of the season, and they are unlikely to spoil HIFK’s party at Bolt Arena. HIFK are after their sixth consecutive win over Haka in all competitions, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.
