Estadio El Molinon will host Monday’s football game between Sporting Gijon and Girona, the two teams who are eyeing a place in the playoffs. Los Rojiblancos aim to make amends for a 1-0 defeat to Almeria, and seeing that they are three points behind the playoffs berth, Miroslav Djukic’s troops are likely to leave their hearts on the field against Girona.
The Catalans, on the other hand, failed to impress in the previous two away games in Segunda Division, with the team losing to both Malaga and Elche. Girona have been struggling in front of goal on the travels of late, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Sporting’s party at Estadio El Molinon.
