Porto will be looking to build on the Champions League win over Olympiakos Piraeus when they take on Ferreira on day 6 of the new Primeira Liga campaign. The Dragons are determined to defend their trophy, but they have yet to find their best form at the start of the season. Porto recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Gil Vicente at the weekend, and, no doubt, they need to improve their game if they are to win yet another domestic trophy.
Both Marcano and Mbaye are likely to miss Friday’s match with injury, while, Sanusi is out of contention through suspension. Ferreira, on the other hand, head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Nacional. The hosts did well to beat Porto at home in 2018, but seeing that there will be no spectators due to the fierce of coronavirus spread this time out, we are tempted to put our money on the reigning champions.
