Burnley are eleven points clear of the relegation zone ahead of Matchday 31, but they need to keep on collecting points if they are to secure yet another EPL survival. Seeing that the Clarets would be happy with one point from the midweek clash, we predict that they will adopt a cautious approach against Watford.
The Hornets, on the other hand, showed character in a 1-1 draw with Leicester City, with the team scoring the equalizer in the dying minutes of the match. Watford aim to escape the danger zone in the Premier League table, but given Burnley’s home record, the visitors should be happy with one point from the Turf Moor clash as well. Burnley attacker Chris Wood is unlikely to recover in time to face Watford, while pacey winger Gerard Deulofeu remains in the recovery room for the visitors.
