There will be fireworks when Brentford and Fulham face each other in the Championship playoffs final. Promotion to the Premier League is at stake, and, no doubt, both teams are going to leave their hearts on the field in the Wembley showdown. The Bees did well to overcome a deficit in the two-legged tie against Swansea City, with top scorer Olie Watkins adding yet another goal to his account. The Cottagers, on the other hand, set up a meeting with Brentford despite the 2-1 loss to Cardiff City at Craven Cottage.
Seeing that they failed to impress in the defeat to the Bluebirds, it is no wonder the Bees are seen as favourites to win the decider. Fulham key attacker Aleksandar Mitrovic is a major doubt, while Nikolaos Karelis is sidelined with injury for the nominal hosts. Anyhow, we are tempted to put our money on Brentford, who have been producing excellent displays after the coronavirus break.
