WBA will be aiming to cement top position in the standings when they take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon. The Baggies recorded a routine 2-0 win over Derby County on Matchday 42 to move one step closer to securing automatic promotion, but they can’t afford any complacency in the season finale. Seeing that Jonathan Leko is the only absentee in the away team, it should come as no surprise that the league leaders are seen as favourites to win the Ewood Park showdown.
The Riversiders quickly bounced back from a 3-1 loss to Leeds United, with the team beating Cardiff 3-2 on the road in midweek. Blackburn Rovers regained a much-needed confidence, but given WBA’s current form (three wins in a row), we are tempted to put our money on the visitors. The likes of Amari’i Bell and Derrick Williams are both likely to miss the game with injury for the hosts.
